Indiana University’s First Nations Educational and Cultural Center and Institute for Indigenous Knowledge encourage you to help raise consciousness of Indigenous peoples and issues and take action on behalf of Indigenous peoples through their Jingle Cones for Justice Project on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, October 14, 2024.

Experience a Day of the Dead celebration with community altars, crafts, and food, hosted by La Casa, LGBTQ+ Culture Center (712 E.8th St.), FNECC (712 E. 8th St.) and the Canterbury House (719 E. 8th St.). Learn more about the background and traditions of this special celebration. Participants will be able to make papel picado, tissue paper flowers, painting, nichos, and more. Light food and beverages at participating culture centers.

The First Conference on Global Indigenous Studies (CGIS 2024) is a multidisciplinary event which invites you to a local and global dialogue and exchange of ideas, research, and experiences on the themes of the event.
