Elicia Goodsoldier (Diné / Spirit Lake Dakota)

IIK Research Associate, Language and Culture Manager for Phoenix Indian Center

Elicia Goodsoldier is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation and belongs to the Spirit Lake Dakota Sioux Tribe. She currently serves the Phoenix Indian Center as the Language and Culture Manager, where she is responsible for implementing American Indian language and culturally based classes, workshops, and special events for the American Indian community in the Phoenix metro area. She has spent the last 18 years working in American Indian communities, both urban and rural, in the behavioral health and social services field. She recently returned to the Phoenix area after 20 years. She is a mother to three children.
