Cynthia Ramlo has designed instructional materials for learning Arikara, Lakota and Nakoda. Most recently she was the Instructional Designer for the Nakoda Language Project where she worked with team members from AISRI and Nakoda communities to produce K-4 language curricula for communities in Fort Peck and Fort Belknap, MT. In addition to textbooks, the project produced storybooks beautifully illustrated by Nakoda artists to build literacy through the use of traditional narratives recorded from Nakoda elders.
