Josh Richards received his Master of Arts in Linguistic Anthropology from Indiana University. His work has focused primarily on the languages and the Nakoda, Arikara, and Pawnee tribes. Josh has been involved in a number of projects aimed at developing language teaching materials and dictionaries, in addition to ethnohistorical documentation. Currently Josh is working with IIK in partnership with the Numu (Paiute) on a project entitled: Numuchadooana Kai Nasumu’wakwuna: Sustaining the Indigenous Northern Paiute Language, with the goal of developing a K-6 language curriculum and supplemental language materials.
